In case you hadn’t heard, paraquat is a toxic chemical that is widely used as a herbicide or weed killer, primarily for invasive plants and grass control. In the United States, paraquat is available primarily as a liquid in various strengths.  The lawsuit surrounding paraquat alleges that exposure to the highly toxic herbicide causes Parkinson’s disease.  Plaintiffs diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease say manufacturers failed to warn about the risk.  The exact paraquat settlement compensation amount will depend on the individual case and the extent of the injury, however most experts believe that such settlements range from $100,000 to $150,000.
