Talcum Powder

Talcum powder is a product that was used by Johnson & Johnson among other companies in soaps, shower products, powders and more.  Anyone who has used talcum powder products for an extended period of time and has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, mesothelioma, endometrioid ovarian cancer or a similar cancer may qualify.  Talcum powder lawsuits are claims that baby powder manufacturers knew their talc was contaminated by asbestos and could cause mesothelioma and ovarian cancer, but did nothing to warn consumers about the risk. Most cases are individual lawsuits but at least four class action lawsuits have been filed.  CNBC reported that the average settlement thus far for talc cases is about $280,000 per plaintiff.
